Welcome to Travis-Fimmel.com, a website dedicated to the Australian actor, who began out modeling as a means to attain something bigger and better (read more about this in the about Travis section). Travis Fimmel is a promising talent, not only is he incredibly gorgeous but he's smart, charming and witty. His tale is some what of gamble, taking a chance coming to Los Angeles with only $60 dollars in his pocket and a dream. Travis Fimmel would go on to be the second model (along with the infamously, talented style icon Kate Moss) to ever sign a 6 figure deal with Calvin Klein. Travis isn't just another pretty boy model for under wear, he's got some talent

To navigate the site simply select one of the options located below on the right side table, it begins with "About Travis". If you have any questions or comments please feel free to get in contact via e-mail fimmelfan03@yahoo.com. Please know that I am not Travis Fimmel nor am I associated with him on a personal level

>TRAVIS WATCH

So this is what basically has happened to Travis within the last few years. Rocky Point was filmed and everything however it wasn't picked up. The screener (first episode/pilot) was leaked online and I have read some fans raving about how good it was.

Travis also acted in an Australian film called Guest, the film has yet to be released and no word has been made about a release date and whether or not it will make its way state side. The films plot line is A young couple on the run hold up in a country estate with a hostage in tow. In addition to Guest this past spring (2006) Travis was cast again in another pilot this time for FOX. Southern Comfort

"SOUTHERN COMFORT (FOX) - Travis Fimmel (John Clayton on "Tarzan") and Eric Roberts (Will Butler on "Less Than Perfect") have both scored roles in the drama pilot, about the wife (Madeleine Stowe) of a Southern mobster who takes over the business when her husband goes to prison. Roberts will play the show's patriarch, a man who - unknown to his family - ran a crime syndicate. Fimmel then will play a young man who works for the father and serves as a potential love interest to Lindy (Jessica Strop, the daughter of Roberts's character). Reiley McClendon also stars in the 20th Century Fox Television-based hour, which Greg Yaitanes is directing a script by creators Joe Gayton and Tony Gayton."

However when FOX announced their fall line up it did not include SC, but maybe it will be a mid season placement who knows?  In a May 19, 2006, article in the Memphis, Tenn., Commercial Appeal newspaper, producer Dennis Murphy said, "It was so close to being accepted, it was a photo finish..." and he blamed "a confluence of scheduling and marketing" for the pilot's rejection. He said "Southern Comfort" was praised by everyone who saw it, but Fox was unsure how to market the show, which wasn't as violent or edgy as other Fox crime dramas.

>MESSAGE 4 THE FANS

Dear Fans,

It has been ages since this site was updated, and I can't tell you how truly sorry I am for not keeping up to date with what's going on with Travis. It became hard running the site when nothing was happening and no one was really helping out. No one sent me any e-mails about anything. If something happened I had to find it for myself and I know that isn't the case with another site dedicated to Travis. I felt like my work wasn't being appreciated, but now I am really over that and I bought my own new server so hopefully this means brighter new beginning for t-f.com.
